#11107 - Remote Bottle Opener          "SEMA 2000" PRODUCT OF THE YEAR!             

This is like winning the "Heisman Trophy"

Hit the rocker panel switch and the bottle automatically opens in 2 seconds!  No more stopping the car, jumping out, and run & opening the trunk, pull up the cover, manually opening the bottle, putting back the cover, close the trunk, run & jump in the car, start the car, and calming yourself enough to race...whew!  Why bother... when you can do it automatically!

 The following photos are from a 2000 Z28, owned by Jerry Jackson.  Jerry opted for the LS1...#20227-15 upgrade, Gen-X w/purge, Remote Bottle Opener...and he's still looking for more power!! 

From this angle, you'd never know what's under that cover....

I was told by several people that the 15 pound bottle wouldn't fit in there. It took me a while to custom fabricate the brackets such that the bottle was in the perfect position....but I finally won that battle. Bottle fits without touching anything but the brackets!

  Here's a close-up of the remote opener and positioning of my gauge and pressure transducer (for the bottle heater).

  There's about 3/4" clearance at the bottom end of the bottle...

  Here's a close up of the purge solenoid attached to the nitrous solenoid.

  Here's the bracket I made for mounting the solenoids and relay. I chose this location because it's out of the way of everything, including the spark plugs and exhaust manifold heat.
